How do I make a purchase?
Making a purchase is easy. Just follow these simple steps:
- Shop by browsing through the items by category or searching our designer.
- Click on the image to access the individual item's product page where you will be given information on sizing and color options. Every effort has been made to photograph and produce colours accurately. However, due to the constraints of digital reproduction on various web browsing platforms, we cannot guarantee true color representations. We encourage you contact our customer service for further details.
- Add merchandise to your shopping bag by clicking on the 'Please add to my shopping bag' button.
- Proceed to checkout to finalise your purchase(s) and follow the instructions. Please note that this is NOT an automated checkout and your credit card will NOT be charged until availability of the product(s) is verified and we receive a final confirmation from you. First time customer may also be subject to further verification
- Once you have made your choice and your order has been placed, you will receive an email acknowledging the details of your order. This email is NOT an acceptance of your order. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Although we make every effort to keep sufficient stock of items listed on our site, occasionally we do sell out of certain products. If we are out of stock on an item that you've ordered, we will notify you via e-mail. Any changes will be reflected in your order total as well as your shipping confirmation.
- A confirmation email will be sent to you within 24 hours to confirm your order and provide payment details.
- Upon receipt of payment, Cultstatus will send you a confirmation email including a tracking number.
What payment methods does CULTSTATUS accept?
Domestic Orders
For domestic orders, we accept payment by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, and American Express), cheque and direct bank transfer. Please select your payment method at the checkout and you will receive the payment details together with the order confirmation email. We will not dispatch the order until we have received confirmation of the bank transfer.
We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event, for example, that we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, that the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards and is withdrawn. Please note that we may require further information from you in order to process your payment.
International Orders
For international orders, we accept payment by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, and American Express) and telegraphic bank transfer. Please select your payment method at the checkout and you will receive the payment details together with the order confirmation email. Please note that credit card payment from international orders will only be accepted subject to compliance with our store requirements for credit card verification.
We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event, for example, that we are unable to obtain adequate identification or authorisation for payment, that the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards and is withdrawn.
How is my purchase shipped
Domestic Shipping
All shipping within Australia is handled by Cultstatus' carrier partner TNT. All parcels will be sent TNT overnight first-class for next working day delivery. All orders confirmed after 1:00 PM on Friday will be shipped the following Monday. We observe all national holidays.
We charge a standard fixed fee of AUD$20 for postage to all capital cities.
International Shipping
We deliver to most countries in the world. Shipping is AUD$50.00 for International orders. All international orders are shipped via ECI with online tracking. International shipments are typically delivered in a timely manner with most customers receiving orders within 3-5 working days. Please note that some individual countries may hold up packages in their Customs for as long as 30 days.
Is my package insured?
Cultstatus has arranged that all merchandise in transit from Cultstatus to the delivery address be insured against theft and accidental damage at no cost to the customer. Once the merchandise has been delivered to the specified delivery address the responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you.
Will there be additional duties or taxes payable on my purchase?
Domestic Orders
All merchandise is shipped from Perth, Western Australia and all prices on the website are shown as GST inclusive. There are no additional duties or taxes.
International Orders
All prices shown are inclusive of Australian GST (Goods & Service Tax), this value will be deducted from the total value of the goods where the order is shipped to an address outside Australia. The actual amount of GST will be shown when you check out. A confirmation email with the total due will be sent after your order is received.
When ordering products from Cultstatus for delivery overseas, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches your country. International orders may also be subject to Customs inspections and/or fees based upon each specific Country's regulations. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. We cannot be responsible for these actions nor for reimbursement of any Customs fees or taxes if products are returned.
Please contact your local customs office to request the details of these charges. If you decide to refuse any shipments from cultstatus.com.au, you are responsible for the original shipping costs to you, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to Cultstatus.
Does cultstatus.com.au sell factory seconds or discounted products?
Cultstatus.com.au does not sell factory seconds or discounted products. All merchandise displayed is regular and new. We are authorized retailers for all designers sold at our store.
What if an item is out of stock?
If an item you are interested in buying is out of stock, please send an email to info@cultstatus.com.au. The Cultstatus buying department will check if the item can be re-ordered and if so, how long it will take.
